อาร์ตกอริลล่าส์ อาร์ตแกลเลอรี่ภูมิใจเสนอนิทรรศการศิลปะ “สภาวะโลก/สภาวะชีวิต” นิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของไวยวุฒิ พรหมรัตน์ ที่นำความหลงใหลในงานศิลปะยุคฟื้นฟูวิทยาการณ์ (Renaissance) มาผสมผสานกับแนวคิิดต่อสภาวะการณ์ดิ้นรนเอาตัวรอดของสิ่งมีชีวิตในปัจจุบัน ถ่ายทอดออกมาเป็นภาพเขียนสีน้ำมันขนาดใหญ่ที่มีกลิ่นอายของงานศิลปะชิ้นเอกในยุคนั้น หากแต่หลอมรวมกับองค์ประกอบของภาพที่พิลึกพิลั่น เชื้อเชิญในผู้ชมตั้งคำถามในการดำรงอยู่ของทุกสรรพสิ่ง
แนวความคิด
เหตุการณ์สภาวะโลกในปัจจุบันเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์งาน ซึ่งต้องการสื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงพฤติกรรมของสิ่งมีชีวิตที่ต้องดิ้นรนเอาตัวรอด และกระตุ้นให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างแปลกประหลาดตามสัญชาติญาณ ทั้งสับสน และดำรงชีวิตอยู่อย่าไร้ทิศทาง ปรับเปลี่ยนไปตามสถานการณ์ที่เลวร้ายอันเกิดจากฝีมือมนุษย์ผู้สร้างขึ้นอย่างไม่รู้ตัว
ท้ายที่สุดแล้วสรรพสิ่งในโลกล้วนสัมพันธ์เกี่ยวข้องซึ่งกันและกัน หากสิ่งหนึ่งสิ่งใดเกิดขึ้นก็ควรต้องร่วมรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งเหล่านั้นอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้
เกี่ยวกับศิลปิน
ไวยวุฒิ พรหมรัตน์ เป็นบัณฑิตจากภาควิชา จิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม และภาพพิมพ์ คณะจิตรกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ปีการศึกษา 2551เคยร่วมแสดงผลงานอมตะอวอร์ด ครั้งที่ 4 ปัจจุบันไวยวุฒิยังคงดิ้นรนเอาตัวรอดอยู่ในโลกบุบๆใบนี้

ArtGorillas ArtGallery is pleased to announce “re/vivre”, a solo painting exhibition by Waiyawut Promrut. This show depicts the revival of Renaissance art in modern era where lives evolves in perplexing ways.
It is the first solo show by the artist who is a fresh graduate from Faculty of Painting , Sculpture, and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University.

จากรายการวิทยุ Radio 1 ประเทศอังกฤษ ในรายการของดีเจ Rob da Bank ช่วง Double Decker ที่เลือกเอาดีเจ/ ศิลปินสองคน สอง(อาจจะต่าง)สไตล์ ให้มาโชว์มิกซ์เทป/ ดีเจเซ็ทในรายการ
คนแรก Fred Falke จากฝรั่งเศษ จากอดีตมือเบสวงดนตรีร็อค ที่หันมาเอาดีทางด้านดนตรีเต้นรำ
เริ่มต้นจากการทำงานรวมกับ Alan Braxe เพื่อนสนิทในผลงานที่ชื่อว่า Intro ที่ออกกับตรา Roule ของ Thomas Bangalter (ต้องบอกไหมเนี่ยว่า คนนี้คือใคร !!) และชื่อของ Fred ก็ไม่เคยห่างไกลจากวงการดนตรี Dance/ Electronic เมื่อมีงานชุกรีมิกซ์ให้กับศิลปินมากมาย เช่น Ladyhawke, Little Boots, The Whitest Boy Alive, VHS or Beta ฯลฯ
ดนตรีดิสโก้คลาสสิค ไล่เรียงไปที่ Tech, Electro House เด้งๆ โดดเด่นด้วยท่อนเบสโคตรเท่ (บางทีหนุ่มคนนี้เอาเบสขึ้นมาเล่นโชว์ประกอบการดีเจเสียด้วย) และทำนองจากเสียง Synth ติดหูที่ทำให้เรากระโดดชูมือร้องตาม

ขอสัญญาเมื่อสายยันต์ว่า นับแต่นี้เป็นต้นไปจะมาเขียน Blog ที่นี่บ่อยๆ
เนื่องด้วย บ้านเราเข้าหน้าร้อนกันอย่างไม่เป็นทางการมาได้ระยะหนึ่งแล้ว เลยขอนำ Mixtape ดีๆที่เราพบเจอตามโน่นนี่ รวมไปถึง Blog อื่นๆที่เราติดตามอยู่เป็นประจำมาฝาก หลากหลายแนวดนตรีไม่ได้ชี้ชัดหรือเน้นไปแนวใดแนวหนึ่ง เอาอามรมณ์ส่วนตัวเป็นที่ตั้งล้วนๆ ที่ฟังแล้วโดนนนนนใจ
ไม่พูดพร่ำทำเพลง ประเดิม Series นี้ด้วย Professor Eddy หนุ่มใหญ่จาก ฮอลแลนด์ ดินแดนกังหันลม (ที่ไม่ใช่ อัมเตอร์ดัมตรงสี่แยกรัชดา-อโศกแต่ย่างใด) ที่นำดนตรี Soul, Funk, R&B, Disco เก่าเก็บมาฝากเรา เพลงสวยๆ หวานๆ จนถึงจังหวะเท่ๆ มากมาย จากแทร็ค Classic หายากไล่เรียงตั้งยุค 60’s จนถึง 80’s กับ Mix ที่ชื่อว่า Summer Groove ดนตรีดีๆที่โยนใส่ไอพอด ไว้ฟังดับไอร้อนบ้านเราได้สบายๆ คุ้มค่าทุกนาทีที่ดาวน์โหลด

“..From 1995 ’till recently I worked for several local radio stations in the Netherlands and I always tried to play as much ‘black’ music as I could. You can hear ‘Soul Searching’ from 9.00 to 10.00 hrs CET in the morning and from 19.00 to 20.00 hrs CET in the evening. I try to play the best soul music from the last 40 years. For me soul music began in the mid sixties when James Brown invented the funk with ‘Papa’s got a brand new bag’. The people from the Laid Back Show gave me the nickname ‘professor Eddy’ because of my musical knowledge (well, that’s what they tell me, probably my glasses have something to do with it as well…)
The idea behind ‘Summer Grooves’ was to make a sunny disco mix. Some joyful tracks from the late sixties to the mid eighties.”
